Pottery Classes

At Oxart Pottery we offer instruction in all areas of pottery, to all ages and skill  levels in a fun and engaging way.  Oxart HQ is an inclusive and welcoming site that provides a safe and diverse environment for creative expression.

Master potter Ian ('Ox') McColl has been involved in the pottery industry for over 40 years and is a trained school teacher of over 20 years experience.  Ian gets a bit excited when people become as enthralled working with clay as he is and succeeds in sharing the pottery love. 

Clare Shannon, trained with Ian and also has many years experience in pottery production. She too is a qualified school teacher and has all of the relevant safety checks.  Clare's bright nature helps to generate a fun environment for learning and inspires the creative abilities in everyone!  

Our team offers everyone the opportunity to engage in all that pottery can offer by providing well equipped studios and an encouraging and fun creative space!  

*Classes are all inclusive of materials and firing and can be casually booked, because let's face it, we have learnt that things change!

It is recommended you do the Introductory Class if you are a 'First Timer'  this will set you up to just jump right in!

Private class/group enquiries are also welcome at Oxart HQ - birthdays, family days and corporate team building are always a hit, and we can build a program to suit the needs of your group.
